“We believe that supporting teachers in their professional development leads to improved outcomes for learners. Good quality professional development and reflective practice are essential parts of a teacher’s professional life.  The PDQ programme is not only about helping to improve student learning – it is also about valuing, supporting and being committed to professional learning so that the staff themselves become lifelong learners. Involving teachers, with their varied perspectives, in school development can yield innovative and productive ideas.

We are developing our Cambridge PDQ Centre network so that schools, teachers and leaders across Indonesia have access to quality, affordable programmes.  William Soeryadjaya Academy for Teaching Excellence is a registered Cambridge International PDQ Centre offering Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching & Learning (CICTL) for teachers or education leaders who want to develop their qualification in teaching profession.”

(Secondary Teacher, CICTL Participant Jakarta)
"I would recommend it to teachers in Indonesia, especially those who consider teaching as your career in the long term. It is an excellent programme for veteran teachers as well as new teachers. Veteran teachers will benefit from their reflection on lesson delivery in their classroom and the new teachers will benefit from having a better foundation to build their teaching method."

(Secondary Teacher, CICTL Participant Jakarta)
"I strongly recommend you to join the CICTL program because i'm an experienced teacher myself. This program has proven so far to me that it is useful, not just for me as an experienced teacher, but also for those of you who are building up your experience in teaching in Indonesia."
Acep Abdulloh
(JC and Secondary Teacher, CICTL Participant Surabaya)
"The benefit I get from the CICTL programme is I learn more about the teaching method: how we plan the class, how to manage the class, and how we assess, gives me much new knowledge about it and a lot of things that I can implement directly in my class."
